Ceramic Intalox Saddle Packing cleaning method? Let's take a look.
The vanadization film on the surface of the metal saddle ring packing is a protective film of iron oxide formed by the reaction of potassium metavanadate and iron in decarburization solution. In order to remove the vanadium infiltration film, the customer selects inorganic and organic acids based on the actual situation, such as urotropin, rhodamine, corrosion inhibitor, and citric acid. After use, the reaction began to intensify, and bubbles appeared on the surface of the Bao'er ring packing. The pickling solution turned grayish brown. The result of continuous reaction is that the solution turns reddish brown and a large amount of scale quickly falls off. After 2.5 hours, the experiment is completed, remove the packaging, and rinse with clean water. Most of the scale outside the ring has been removed, but there is still a small amount of scale inside the ring. Therefore, for the second solution change, use 3% citric acid and 0.2% rhodamine. After 2 hours, it was observed that the vanadium infiltration film on the outer surface of the packing ring had been removed, and a small amount of film was found inside. After 6 hours, the test ends.
Based on the results of the cleaning test, the customer in Heilongjiang chose citric acid as the cleaning agent and opted for a safer corrosion inhibitor for tower cleaning. This not only saves manpower and resources, but also buys time for methanol driving, which can achieve the expected cleaning purpose. At present, the carbon dioxide regeneration tower has been re vanadized and put into use.
